Our nephew, Coley, sent Flat Stanley to us in hopes of learning about Grand Junction. If you're not familiar with the book, a chalk board falls on Stanley, flattens him out and he travels around the world. (Reader's Digest version) We took Flat Stanley all around GJ: airport, visitors center, Colorado National Monument and the orchards. We can't wait until Coley comes to visit so we can show him the same good time!

How fun! Flat Stanley came to visit us while we were living in Vienna. We had a good time taking him to the sites, even if we looked a little goofy taking photos of a paper doll all over town. :)
Agreed! We did feel a bit foolish, but we had a lot of fun.
Flat Stanley came on my 4th grade tour last week.It was funny watching them take pictures of him all along the way.
