Kids in Need are Everywhere

We just launched a website for a non-profit - www.KidsAidColorado.org - and its staggering to find how many kids in our own communities are going hungry. It's not just the children in third-world countries anymore ... or has it ever been?

Take time to read this about the Kids Aid program and how horrible a problem hunger is in the area. Thank goodness for organizations like Kids Aid and their weekend backpack meals. It's reassuring to know that folks still have a heart for the children in our home towns.

Elaine, who would have thought there would be 388 homeless families in the Grand Junction area. I've heard of this weekend back pack program. How great that Ryan, Whitney and Sawyer are giving them a website to spread the word. There are always plenty of people close to home that need our help --- we just have to hear about them. Hope Kids Aid is able to help all the children who are going hungry.

We've had a great response from the publicity. A couple of news channels talked about it and the newspaper, so I hope this effort garners more donations so they're able to get into more schools.

Not sure where to post this but I wanted to ask if anyone has heard of National Clicks?

Can someone help me find it?

Overheard some co-workers talking about it all week but didn't have time to ask so I thought I would post it here to see if someone could help me out.

Seems to be getting alot of buzz right now.

Thanks
